JoJi Inc is a company created by Johanne Saunier and Jim Clayburgh in 1998. Joji Inc created its first solo piece in 1998, Sans la Voix des Maîtres , interpreted by Johanne Saunier based on scenes from the film "Harakiri" by Kobayashi, 1963.
1999 Chorée/Salto, a choreographed musical concert created with the pianist Stéphane Ginsburgh, the composer Renaud de Putter and the viola player Garth Knox (Arditti Quartet) has been performed among others at the festival "Ars Musica" and Charleroi/Danses in Brussels.
2000 Final Scene , is a piece for three female dancers in the continuation of the solo, which won the Prix d'Auteur du Conseil général de Seine-St-Denis (Bagnolet).
Petite Pièces pour Voix et Gestes , with the collaboration of Fatou Traoré.
2001 Landscape with 4 Figures created in Paris during the Festival "Faits d'Hiver - Danses d'Auteurs". A piece for 4 dancers and a Viole d'Amour player (Garth Knox) improvising on the Philippe Boesman' string quartet "Summer Dreams".
2002 It's like. , for 3 female dancers and an actress via Internet connection, within a square installation of veils 2003 Creation of the film It's like. directed by Joji Inc et Michel de Wouters ( Festival VidéoDanse Beaubourg Paris, Festival Nueva Tokyo, Nancy, Atomium Brussels, Avignon festival.)
2004 It's like./ l'installation (Atomium Bruxelles).
S W O T solo with a rope (Festival Avignon off).
Erase-E(x) 1 a solo with Johanne Saunier and choreographed by the Wooster Group of New York , created in Avignon 04 "Sujet à Vif".
2005, Erase-E(x) 1, 2, 3 a multi parts performance with the collaboration of The Wooster Group, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, and Isabella Soupart.
2006 Erase-E(x) part 4 de Kurt D'haeseleer Théâtre de la Ville paris. April 2007 Erase-E(x) parts 6 & 7 by composer Georges Aperghis, Johanne Saunier in the Biennale de Charleroi-Danses.

Meer dan tien jaar lang (van 1986 tot 1998) treedt Johanne Saunier op bij het gezelschap Rosas, onder leiding van Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. Later werkt ze met Michèle Anne De Mey, Fatou Traoré, Thierry De Mey voor diens film 21 études à danser , Claudio Bernardo...
Voor Joji Inc - haar samenwerkingsverband met scenograaf Jim Clayburgh - choreografeert ze Sans la Voix des Maîtres (1998), Chorée / Salto, Final Scene (Prix d'auteur Bagnolet 2000l), Landscape with 4 figures (2001), It's like (2002), It's Like (film+ Installation) 2003, You are here / Swot , Erase-E(x) 1 ( Festival d'Avignon 2004), Erase-E(x) 1,2,3 ( Festival d'Avignon 2005).
Sinds 2000 speelt ze ook in enkele opera's ( Wintermärchen van Philippe Boesmans/Luc Bondy, BloetWollefDuivel  van Walter Hus / Guy Cassiers, Paysage sous surveillance van Georges Aperghis/ Ictus, Stormen van Georges Aperghis/ Ictus).
ERASE-E(X) is sinds juli 2004 het hoofdproject geweest van Joji Inc. Een samenwerkingssuite met diverse artiesten, die uit zeer uiteenlopende werelden afkomstig zijn, in de gedaante van een Russische pop: van de Wooster Group uit New York tot Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, van Georges Aperghis voor een vocale compositie tot een videocreatie door Kurt D’Haeseleer.

Jim Clayburgh - scenographer

Scenograaf en belichtingsmeester Jim Clayburgh is één van de stichtende leden van The Wooster Group waarmee hij samenwerkt sinds 1976. ( The Hairy Ape , North Atlantic , Finished Story, Emperor Jones et Brace Up , The Road to Immortality, en Three Places in Rhode Island) . Daarnaast heeft Jim Clayburgh theaterdecors ontworpen voor het gezelschap Cie Isabella Soupart, het New York Shakespeare Festival, het Ontological Hysteric Theater, Mabou Mines en de Creation Company én zette hij werken van Richard Foreman, David Rabe en Des McAnuff in scène. Jim Clayburgh is ook actief in de danswereld: hij ontwierp de belichting voor Rosas, Michèle Anne De Mey, Douglas Becker, Ultima Vez/Wim Vandekeybus, Pierre Droulers ( De l'Air et du Vent, Multum in Parvo, MA, Inoui ), Cie Isabella Soupart (In the wind of time) en En Knap en voor de Ensembles Ictus en Walpurgis. Samen met Pierre Droulers creëerde hij in 1999 de opera's Aventures et Nouvelles aventures van Ligeti. Jim Clayburgh heeft meegewerkt aan de renovatie van La Maison de la Radio Flagey te Brussel.
Hij heeft eveneens alle decorontwerpen gecreëerd voor Joji Inc. (decors en belichting); het gezelschap waarvan hij de medeoprichter is (de Ji van JOJI).
